Creating Booth Types
Booth Types are where booth pricing is set. Generally you will create at least one Booth Type for every Price Category.
If you have two Price Categories:
- Food & Drink
- Non-Food
And you have physical locations (that have different pricing or you wish to differentiate for tracking purposes):
- Center Court
- Midway
- Exhibit Hall
You will need to create Booth Types:
- Center Court - Food & Drink
- Center Court - Non-Food
- Midway - Food & Drink
- Midway - Non-Food
- Exhibit Hall - Food & Drink (see note below)
- Exhibit Hall - Non-Food
Note: You are not required to create all possible combinations. If for example, you do not allow food vendors in your Exhibit Hall you could just create “Exhibit Hall - Non-Food” and not create “Exhibit Hall - Food & Drink”
Create a new Booth Type
- Click on Booth Types in the Navigation Side Bar
- Click on New booth type in the top right on the page
In the Basic Information Section select the Event you are working on from the Event dropdown. In the Name field enter a unique name. This name can be the same as used for other events but must be a unique among Booth Type names for this event. Keeping a uniform naming convention will look cleaner and make it easier to apply these to vendor booths.
Our recommended naming format is LOCATION - PRICE CATEGORY - IMPORTANT INFO. Some possible examples:
- Center Court - Food & Drink
- Exhibit Hall - Non-Food [12×12 Booth]
- Exhibit Hall - Non-Food - Corner [12×12 Booth]
- Midway | Food & Drink
In the Pricing & Sizing section you first select the Price Category that applies to this Booth Type.
Next you must decide which which Pricing Type you wish to use. More details can be found on Booth Pricing Types here.
When complete click on Create which will save and remain on this page to review or edit or click Create & create another to stay on this page and create more Booth Categories.
